Devils Lake Shiverfest Rallycross is still on. Be sure to bundle up, as there will be 15-25 mph winds with a high of -1F (BRRrr!) and bring a filled out registration form.

Hello Fellow Drivers...

"Yes", we are doing it again... that is, our open track event over Memorial Day Weekend at Motorsport Park Hastings (MPH) in Hastings, NE on May 23 & 24, 2015. If you have ever wanted to take your car to the track, this is the perfect opportunity for drivers of any level, whether novice or experienced, to run in a very non-congested and comfortable situation. Registration cost is $299 for the full weekend and $199 for Saturday only. Pre-registered drivers who have run MPH before may come and run Friday afternoon at no additional cost! View the flyer.

Welcome to the SCCA Badlands Region!

SCCA is the acronym for Sports Car Club of America, an organization of men and women who have passion for automobiles, speed and the thrill of competition. Whether you are a professional or an amateur, the SCCA exists to organize, support and develop automotive events across the country.

Solo - The precision of laser surgery with the subtlety of a rock concert.

Solo is the SCCA brand name for autocross competition. Solo events are driving skill contests that emphasize the driver's ability and the car's handling characteristics. This is accomplished by driving a course that is designated by traffic cones on a low hazard location, such as a parking lot or inactive airstrip. While speeds are no greater than those normally encountered in legal highway driving, the combination of concentration and car feedback creates an adrenaline pumping experience. It is like being in a movie chase scene, only you are holding onto the steering wheel instead of a box of popcorn!
